Path Forward IT (PFIT), a Blue Alliance company, is a national IT services provider with origins in healthcare IT. Since 2002, Path Forward IT has been troubleshooting, architecting, migrating, protecting, and securing IT environments for healthcare practices and businesses across a multitude of high-impact industries. At Path Forward IT, we are looking for the right person to fill the role of IT Project Manager whose primary responsibility is to collaborate with various teams to plan, manage, and track projects, ensuring proper resource utilization, timeline adherence, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
As a member of our Client Services team, an IT Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, communication, and completion of projects within planned project constraints, and are advocates and architects of the Project Management processes and procedures. The Project Manager utilizes the chosen CRM to ensure billing, phase management, timelines, resource utilization and project work is completed to both internal and customer expectations.
Important Attributes for a Path Forward IT Project Manager:
- Document all notes, meeting minutes, and customer communications in company CRM and IT Glue, as appropriate
- Ensure all time and expenses are compliant with company policy
- Document billable time in company CRM
- Verify and submit relevant documentation updates post project
- Maintain established project timelines
And of course, your technical skills! This should include:
- Expert proficiency with central repository for project documentation
- Expert proficiency with company CRM and designated meeting platform
- Basic understanding in Microsoft 365, AzureAD, technical infrastructure (servers, network, applications, etc.) for specific client assignment(s)
- Communication tools (Microsoft Office & Teams)
- Software as assigned
As a Path Forward IT Project Manager, we’re counting on you to:
- Partner with IT Manager and/or Project Engineer to create opportunities, statements of work, quotes, project charters, and work plans for review
- Work with Internal Teams to identify proper resource utilization to achieve project deliverables
- Plan, design, and manage opportunities and projects within company CRM, in conjunction with the appropriate IT Manager and/or Project Engineer
- Communicate timeline and project scope changes to team and client
- Track and monitor project deliverables and milestones
- Develop agendas and requested project documentation; distribute meeting notes and action items
- Partner with Finance team to ensure all documentation, time, and expenses are associated to correct project
- Conduct internal retrospectives and close project
- Monitors task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and develop mitigation plans
- Travel up to 25-50% for client projects
