Job description

As a Delivery Manager with a strong technical background, you will use your experience with Agile methodologies and your deep understanding of the SDLC to lead a team of developers crafting solutions for a high-profile video gaming client.

Working with our team, you will be involved in the product life cycle, gathering and refining  playable requirements, defining, working closely with the development and business; and leveraging solid communication with the stakeholders to guarantee constant progress and alignment. 

We are looking for Delivery Managers who have experience working with development teams and can be the first point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.

Expected travelling time (UK and USA): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client. You will be working with teams across different time zones and locations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams in the role of Product Manager, Delivery Manager or Engineering Manager 
  • Ability to coordinate schedules across multiple time zones
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proven track record of management skills in areas such as conflict resolution, multi-reporting, roadmap planning and backlog management.
  • A software engineering background with the ability to comfortably speak in technical jargon
  • Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
  • Proven ability to analyse product use cases and requirements from all points of the SDLC, including the architecture, development, testing, and deployment phases (Note: you will not be required to provide architectural or coding solutions, but you must be comfortable participating in discussions about these topics and influencing and providing input from a business and client requirements standpoint)
What you will be doing:
      • Mentor the team as an Agile advocate and continuous improvement processes
      • Manage conflicts and impediments if/as they arise and coach the team on managing them
      • Ensure all stakeholders are up to date on the team's progress and deliverables status by maintaining an open and honest communications
      • Provide clear reports with different specifications for different audiences
      • Leverage your prior technical/coding experience to triage development and QA tickets based on business and customer priorities
      • Own and supervise the product backlog, story writing, project roadmap and dependencies
      • Translate the product features into well-defined product requirements including features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
      • Work with development teams, software architects and business stakeholders to collaborate, set and communicate release schedules, dates and scope
      • Ensuring your team’s delivery against the agreed plan
      • Influencing the product vision definition and break it into smaller and incremental deliverables
      • Assist in the identification of market opportunities
      • Planning and executing the end-to-end product development lifecycle
