Who will you be joining? 

Growth Initiatives supports M&A and Digital Investments to acquire and invest in companies to generate growth (H6, Global Lines, OEs) and in strategically relevant best digital frontrunners (AZ X) with IT/Operations assessments for M&A and Digital Investments to identify risks, synergies, new capabilities, cost implications and define the potential target picture.

How can you make an impact? 

• Supporting team members in their tasks and projects 
• Providing assistance with further development, updating and maintenance of all areas related to the function GIQA (Growth Initiatives and Quality Assurance)
• Supporting in the preparation of presentations for different stakeholders
• Supporting the team in building up an active team space within the Allianz social Intranet, including sharing relevant target-group oriented information 
• Supporting in the creation of methodologies in IT & Operations due diligence 
• Supporting in research activities
• Working on project assignments

What are you made of? 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Currently enrolled in a degree in business administration, Operations, or Computer Science with IT Management, or comparable studies 
• High integrity and confidentiality 
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Structured, dedicated and ability to work well under pressure 
• Team player with excellent intercultural and interpersonal skills and a strong can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and familiarity with IT or Operations management 
• Excellent in written and spoken English; German language skills would be very beneficial 
• First experiences in project management or IT or Operations are a plus 
• Prior knowledge of IT Management or insurance operations is not necessarily required but desired
• Familarity with the usage of AI technologies are desired (e.g. ChatGPT)
• Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
