Job Summary

The Application Systems Analyst help businesses achieve their objectives by evaluating, designing and developing computer application systems.

Job Description

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop full stack applications on the FileMaker and other platforms.

  • Consult with management to determine goals and objectives and then design applications to meet them.

  • Develop application specifications

  • Identify the required inputs and format the output to meet users’ needs.

  • Oversee the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications, coordinate tests of the application system to ensure proper performance, and create diagrams and flow charts for computer programmers to follow.

  • Investigate errors, diagnose problems and recommend solutions.

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of reported incidents.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer-related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task

  • Proficiency across a variety of software applications and computer systems

  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
