Your missions

Role: Senior Software Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months+ *(Possibly Contract-to-hire)
Work Hours: India Time (IST) *overlap of at least 4 hours with central time zone (2PM – 10:30PM IST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (can work from anywhere in Chennai)

The Senior Software Developer will be contributing to both Snowflake Based Data Pipeline application and as well as Python API's.

Must Haves:

Minimum of 8-9 Years of experience in Software Development leveraging snowflake & Python.
Must be flexible to work to have an overlap of at least 4 hours with central time zone (2PM – 10:30PM IST)

Qualifications:

Expertise in Snowflake DB and its various architecture principles , capabilities.
Strong Hands on Python Developer with knowledge of Integrating Systems with snowflake
Experience with data warehousing, data architecture, ETL data pipeline and/or data engineering environments at enterprise scale that are built on Python & Snowflake
Ability to create Python/SQL Procedures in Snowflake , Build a Data Pipeline efficiently in a cost-optimizing & performance efficient way.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - Git, Mercurial, SVN
Knowledge of Python API Frameworks such as Django/Flask/Fast
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Ability to build (Proof of Concept projects) & Self-Starter
Knowledge of SDLC, Testing & CI/CD aspects such as Jenkins , BB , JIRA
