Currently, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for: 

 

Position Title: Senior Data Engineer 

 

Location: Remote - LATAM

 

What you will be doing:

 

You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems to achieve positive business outcomes. To succeed in this position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. If you are detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and experience in this field, we’d like to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Analyze and organize raw data 
  • Build data systems and pipelines
  • Evaluate business needs and objectives
  • Interpret trends and patterns
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on results 
  • Build algorithms and prototypes
  • Combine raw information from different sources
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition

 

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent experience working with data required 
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with an understanding of core data engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, CDC, Data Modelling, and Data retention policies.
  • Azure experience
  • Background in data/business analysis
  • SQL Server
  • Azure SQL
  • ADF
  • Data Lake
  • Power BI
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Understanding of agile processes 
  • Experience with Aha! Develop, Jira, and/or Microsoft DevOps a plus
  • Experience in the Microsoft ecosystem including .NET and Visual Studio/VSCode a plus
  • Experience with Mongo and/or Postgres a plus
  • Azure certification is a plus
  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs a plus
