Your missions

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Management of the Sales personnel, including driving areas of activity:
    • Lead Generation
    • Bookings and revenue forecast submissions and achievement
    • Budget Control
    • Process Enforcement and Training
  • Management of other personnel (Applications, Service) reporting within the region
  • Support and management of electron microscope manufacturer (EMM) and other sales channels
  • Providing customers in the region with outstanding quality at every point of their interactions with the company and its products
  • Close cooperation with the primary US sites in Pleasanton, CA and Warrendale, PA, across all functional groups (Sales, Marketing, Applications, Service, Product Management, etc.)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical and commercial experience in the EM environment, e.g. regional manager
  • People management skills: the ability to strike the right balance between motivation and guidance of the team while, at the same time, listening to make best use of the long experience of an excellent team
  • The ability to communicate well with Product Managers and Senior Management and "translate" local needs of customers in the region
  • Must have good commercial skills for negotiations of contracts and complex projects
  • Strong technical background to understand our highly complex products
  • Creativity and strategic thinking to adapt to a challenging business environment
  • Willingness/ability to travel extensively within the territory and occasionally overseas
  • Compelling and effective presentation skills

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in physics, material science, life sciences, or engineering
    • Masters or PhD Degree in physics, material science, life sciences or engineering preferred
    • MBA or experience in business and profit/loss management preferred
  • 10+ years of regional and sales management experience
