Role Overview:
As a VP, Sales for SME & Enterprise Software, you will be responsible for leading our strategic sales initiatives and driving revenue growth in the dynamic SME and Enterprise software market. Your role will encompass establishing and optimizing our entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, with a focus on acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for SME and Enterprise clients, focusing on acquiring new accounts and expanding market presence.
  • Set up and optimize the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

Lead Sales Team and Operations:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing mentorship, guidance, and motivation to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish clear sales objectives, performance metrics, and KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries, positioning SOULCHI as a trusted partner.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations, demonstrating deep understanding of client needs and delivering compelling solutions.

Revenue Generation and Forecasting:

  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and effective pipeline management.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, aligning with company goals and financial targets.

Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance market reach and accelerate sales growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a successful sales leader in the SME and Enterprise software industry, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales roles, including team management and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving growth and innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Compensation Opportunity: Competitive commission structure + Equity incentives until break-even.

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.
