POSITION SUMMARY

Velocity Global’s Director, Partner Strategy & Programs will own the identification and development of the partner programs that will help our partner ecosystem scale their businesses with Velocity Global. A proven track record of developing and adapting partner programs in a multifaceted partner ecosystem is essential. This leadership role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive partner program strategy awareness and to identify programmatic areas of opportunity.  

To ensure our partner program is best in class, this role will own the development and annual adaptations of the Velocity Global partner program. This position will report to the Global VP of Strategic Partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for building, motivating and coaching a high-performance team. You are shaping role structures and creating playbooks to drive clarity for your direct reports.
  • Design Velocity Global’s partner program, inclusive of partner routes to market and incentive/reward structures for our partner ecosystem.  This role will work closely with Partner Operations to ensure sound policies and rules of engagement to drive a seamless partner experience.
  • Own the core processes of the Partner business and act as a change agent to implement cross functional projects with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • KPIs and reporting:  Design a suite of dashboards that showcase accurate partner value creation.
  • Work closely with Partner Marketing, Sales, and Enablement to build mutual value while nurturing a co-selling motion with our respective field teams.
  • Highly motivational leadership. Designing spiffs and incentives to accelerate strategic partner priorities.
  • Find new and unique ways to create leverage and drive value to partners via our current customer stack as well as cross-selling opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in partner programs and people leadership, where you’ve consistently overachieved goals.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the advisory and consultancy landscape.
  • Experience in HR Tech SaaS, and Enterprise Accounts strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required (30%).
