HR Operations Specialist – Job Description

Our HR Operations Specialist will assist in providing a wide range of HR support. This role will help contribute to the success of the organization by assisting with employee relations, performance management, employee exits, employee changes, compliance, and other HR projects.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Support company talent rhythm and performance management activities including developing communication, updating, creating, and facilitating training, and system administration of Betterworks.
  • Serve as HR Administrator and SME for Betterworks, including Insights module and reporting functionality.
  • Assist with annual review and update of employee handbook along with leading the collection and tracking of employee acknowledgements.
  • Partner with HRIS team on reporting, to lead reporting initiatives, including retention and team metrics.
  • Lead quarterly retention reporting process including, preparing reporting and presentations for quarterly retention and feedback reviews with Executive team.
  • Partner with Unemployment Team to provide information for claims.
  • Support Compliance and Risk initiatives.
  • Assist with the process of employee exits including exit surveys, company communication, and partnership with IT on equipment, systems, and access.
  • Assist with employee changes such as transfers and promotions.
  • Assist with the Improvement Action Plan process.
  • Assist with HR process and alignment with other brands as needed.
  • Lead team projects and initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Maintain electronic filing system.
  • Provide administrative support as needed for day-to-day HR Operations functions.
  • Assist with other HR programs and processes as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years in Human Resources role required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization required
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality required
  • Excellent project management, organization, prioritization, and time management skills required
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and credibility throughout the business
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and balance a variety of interactive and administrative tasks
  • Drive to consistently meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail

Preferences:

  • 2+ years experience with HR reporting and analytics, HR systems and technology, integrating systems and processes, and developing training content and facilitation.

Pay Range: USD $55,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
