About the role
We're excited to be looking for Assessment Associates to be part of our VCert Technical Awards team to write, review and scrutinise external set assessments on a flexible worker contract in the following subject area:
- Level 1 / 2 Food and Cookery
How you'll make an impact:
- Produce assessment content (tasks and mark schemes) that meet NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements
- Review assessment content (question papers/tasks and mark schemes) to ensure that it meets NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements
- Submitting assessment content in the required format, within agreed timescales
- Ensuring assessment content meets all commissioning instructions, as agreed with the Assessment Solutions Officer
- Attending training sessions and meetings as required (online)
We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification within the subject listed.
- Current, valid and up to date knowledge of the subject area with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Experience of working with quality assurance processes
- Ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
