About this role

As a Technical Success Manager, you’ll work as part of a driven and creative team to make our Serverless customer base successful with AI. Your mission is to collaborate with teams across Weaviate to deliver a first-class user experience and to drive success across the diverse Serverless user base. This role requires a curious and analytical approach, deep technical competence, a sharp intuition for product, and a strong degree of user insight.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Drive customer communications from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
  • Meet with users to understand their objectives, identify what we can do to make them successful, and leverage the breadth of Weaviate’s resources to action.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce customers with specific objectives into enterprise programs
  • Provide deep technical guidance to customers on how to use the Weaviate Database to achieve their unique objectives.
  • Work with our developer advocacy and engineering teams to build product-led features and user journeys able to support thousands of users through all stages of their Weaviate lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with our product teams teams to evolve and scale our product based on empirical evidence from the field.
  • Proactively identify customer health risks, and effectively leverage internal teams to mitigate non-renewal (churn) risk.

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing, technical role.
  • You are comfortable taking responsibility and using your excellent comprehension skills to develop solutions to complex customer problems quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • You have a strong bias for action.
  • You have an interest in everything related to Search, AI and ML.
  • Experience in programming e.g. Golang, Java, Python.
  • Experience writing infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, etc.).
  • Understanding of container orchestration e.g. Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Experience in setting up and managing deployments on major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
