Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master you will directly impact the effectiveness of Eindhoven R&D IT teams, because you will be the guide on their Agile DevOps journey, so that they can become winners in the innovation space. Together with the other Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers and Product Owners you will be responsible for creating the working climate, in which team members dare to experiment and fail fast. Your Agile facilitation skills and deep understanding of DevOps unleash the innovative potential of the organization  

 

This is what you will do as a Scrum Master at NXP 

You will support the DevOps teams and use different agile ways of working. You will facilitate different parts of the Agile ceremonies, stand by the team’s side as an enabler and are committed to breaking down barriers to create value for stakeholders  

 

  • You train, coach and mentor the DevOps teams to deliver value to the organization through agile ways of working, self-organization, automation, cross-functional collaboration and communication  

  • Coach the Product Owner in agile product management techniques for effective Product Goal definition, Product Backlog management and communicating the product vision 

  • You facilitate discussions, decision-making and conflict resolution, and of course, you facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as retrospectives

Typically you…  

You can describe yourself as follows:  

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably (but not mandatory) in Information Technology 

  • Certificates for Scrum and / or SAFe. Knowledge and experience with Liberating Structures will be considered a big plus 

  • Two years of experience as a Scrum Master working with Agile teams, preferably in a technological or IT infrastructure organization 

  • Passionate about Agile, DevOps, and Scrum. Loves to work together with people, and values collaboration in a large enterprise organization 

  • Solution-oriented and hands-on mentality. A growth mindset, good knowledge and understanding of Lean Agile, ability to think outside the box

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
