Job Description
AT&T experience is a plus
  • This role is responsible for managing the project transition of "Network VPN" to HVD(Hosted Virtual Desktop) into IBM standard tools and processes and acting as a focal point for the overall transition.
 
Primary duties:
  • Defining the scope of work to be performed and planning how tasks will be executed, including processes to be used and timing based on customer requirements, contractual terms, and financial constraints.
  • Negotiating changes to schedule and services as needed.
  • Creating and overseeing processes for implementing transition plan.
  • Planning and managing transition process and ensuring adherence to the project plan, scope and contract requirements; ensuring appropriate resources are available; resolving issues as needed.
  • Creating Pivot Tables and graphs for and tracking outstanding Transitions and Migrations 
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and MS Project  as well as the Microsoft Suite 
  • Good understanding of Software such as ( DOCKER, Micro Services Technology, Web base software)   This role is also responsible for serving as a focal point for asset management and Software installation on NGA software center in AT&T.
  • Working with equipment requestor to understand business needs and identify alternative methods for acquiring requested equipment (e.g., through already owned used equipment).
  • Coordinating with finance and business offices to ensure sufficient information is contained in request to obtain approval and placing software orders(e.g. TSS, COTS other AT&T technical solutions). 
  • Identifying existing equipment inventory to fulfill workstation requests for new hires and cascades (i.e., used and already deployed equipment) and fulfilling the requests in accordance with established policies and processes.
  • Working with mangers to approve workstation requests based on quarterly published list of employees who need updated workstations and following guidelines set by others.
  • Ensuring employees who receive updated work stations submit return requests for existing machines and following IBM guidelines for approving return requests and determining appropriate asset classification (i.e., scrap or redeployment).
  • Performing monthly audit of a predetermined sample of assets by verifying physical possession of assets by individuals listed as having them and researching
 
the physical location of assets.
  • Preparing audit summary reports and related documentation WFH(Work From Home) staff and Delivery Center staff, Clean Desk Reviews
