Role: University Partnerships Senior Manager

Location: Flexible (remote working available)

Reports to: COO

Equal Education Partners is seeking a University Partnerships Senior Manager to join our partner client, whose mission is to propel high-talent, low-opportunity students into top universities and careers, first in the UK and then worldwide. As our client progresses into its Series A funding round, they're looking for an expert from the Higher Education space to take their initial pilot successes with universities and develop and scale their model to partner with the UK’s leading universities and drive their mission

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of strategic partnerships with universities and educational institutions
  • Identify and engage potential university partners that align with our mission and values
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective implementation of partnership initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of partnerships and make recommendations for improvement
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in university partnerships
  • Support the COO and wider team in overall partnership strategy and planning
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Requirements

  • 2+ years of partnership management or business development experience
  • Strong knowledge of the higher education sector
  • Proven track record in building and managing university partnerships
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Mentorship or team management experience is a plus
  • Passion for education, social mobility, and social impact
