2+ years of software development experience building large, scalable, microservice applications in the cloud.
You know how to develop backend software applications using object-oriented programming languages and design patterns.
You are passionate about software development, learning different domain knowledge, and solving machine learning problems.
You are able to effectively collaborate across different teams and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You enjoy mentoring and learning from other engineers.
You are able to design and interact with complex persisted data models.

You are able to identify and improve poor performing code or database queries.
Work Arrangement:
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections.
