About the Role

As InterAction US Sales Director, you will lead a diverse team and drive subscription information services sales. This includes online news services, databases and analytical tools directly to customers.
 

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing multiple diverse teams to achieve sales targets
  • Developing departmental plans and contributing to the professional direction of the sales discipline
  • Ensuring operational and functional goals are delivered upon
  • Making contributions to the strategy of the sales function
  • Delivering results in fast-changing businesses and/or regulatory environments
  • Guiding, persuading, and influencing others internally and externally
  • Providing input to functional or departmental strategy
  • Ensuring accountability for end results, finances/budget, and resource planning


Requirements

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of internal and industry standards and principles within the sales discipline
  • Have proven experience in B2B enterprise sales. Preferable experience selling to law firms.
  • Be capable of managing multiple, potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals
  • Have the ability to impact results of part of a function, division, or region
  • Be adept at guiding, persuading, and influencing others internally and externally
  • Be able to apply in-depth understanding of the business dynamics while linking with other parts of the organization to impact the function effectively
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with senior executives, vendors, or regulators
  • Be capable of providing input to functional or departmental strategy
