Overview:
2020 Companies is hiring a full-time remote Retail Operations Execution Specialist representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.
The Retail Operations Execution Specialist serves an essential supporting role in the execution of Samsung's Retail Sales Enablement strategy supporting the Mobile, Video, and Appliance field sales teams. This role will partner closely with field sales leadership and corporate support teams to ensure the timely and efficient execution of retail initiatives.
The Retail Operations Execution Specialist will provide operational support for field sales teams during multiple concurrent product launches, focusing on increasing the efficiency/effectiveness of sales teams and providing accurate and timely data/insights to all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses a mix of creative sales initiatives to drive sales and analytical skills with a history of successfully using data to inform the decision-making process and recommend areas for improvement. Additionally, excellent soft skills, including impeccable verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to a variety of audiences and gain buy-in from stakeholders are key.

Job Description:
Specific responsibilities include:
Primary responsibility is to execute field operations strategies that drive sell-outs and grow the Samsung brand with every customer
Work with third-party vendors by providing direction and feedback for each program
Manage the sales execution programs for the field sales team of 400+ associates
Create the steps necessary to launch a new program on a third-party platform
Support field with event planning initiatives utilizing vendor support for execution
Work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams including field sales team, finance, training, supply chain, merchandising, and channel operations
Support Semi-annual National Retail Meeting - logistics, brand creative approval, coordinate meeting space and invites, vendor management
Written and oral communication: coordinate meetings and surveys, develop PowerPoint decks, support go-to-market plans; work within operations to send regular communication to the field on upcoming incentives and field activities
Provide weekly reporting on all programs to executive-level leadership
Define and track KPIs and dashboards, including engagement and efficiency metrics
Drive a collaborative environment by acting as a subject matter expert on assigned areas
Skills & Competencies:
Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large sets of data
Presentation skills with the ability to speak in large meetings
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to pull out key significant information and tell a story in a PowerPoint presentation.
Strong sense of urgency and a passion for flawless execution
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment, understanding, and expected outcomes
Strong communication skills with an ability to demonstrate influence without direct authority
Extremely comfortable with quickly learning new systems and processes
Independent and can take full charge of responsibilities, but not afraid to ask for guidance when needed
Strong time and project management skills – able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent and competing deadlines
Willing to able to travel nationally. Travel about 10% of the time.
Background:
3+ years in sales development or retail marketing.
2+ years in corporate event planning – including experience with large user conferences, virtual or hybrid in-person events
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
Mobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience is strongly preferred
Experience working with third-party vendors strongly preferred
Experience working with or supporting sales or GTM organizations
Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapt to changing business environment
Ability to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues, and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations
Must have communication skills; verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues, and make effective decisions
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all partners, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times
Proficiency required in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
