Job description

UserGems helps companies generate more revenue by identifying buyers who will most likely buy from them. Leveraging artificial intelligence, UserGems combines relationship data with trigger events to surface the most relevant buyers for each customer. We’ve raised $20M Series A from investors including Craft Ventures, Uncork Capital, Battery Ventures, and Tiger Global.

We are looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst to focus on internal sales and marketing ops projects within our rapidly growing business. You will also spend up to 20% of your time partnering with sales and customer success to advise prospects and customers on optimizing the implementation of UserGems for their business.

This unique role provides great networking and exposure to top-tier SaaS operations leaders via our prospects, customers, investors, and team and includes mentorship opportunities to build your personal brand via thought leadership in the RevOps space. As an internal ‘voice of the customer’, including work on our own implementation of UserGems, you will also have an influence on our product roadmap and trajectory at an especially exciting time.

As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you will:
  • Work with departmental leaders to plan, prioritize, track, and implement process and systems changes that improve the visibility, efficiency, and predictability of the business while delighting our users
  • Provide onboarding training and tactical support for our go-to-market team
  • Enable our marketing, sales, and CS teams to experiment, grow the business, and measure success
  • Identify new ways to streamline and automate processes based on your own observations, data discovery, and user research
  • Make recommendations to leadership on go-to-market strategy and prioritization
How you’ll ramp:

…within your first week…

  • You’ll get set up with your preferred hardware and in key systems
  • You’ll get in-depth training on our products, value propositions, target personas, and the competitive landscape
  • You’ll have 1:1 intro meetings with the go-to-market team
  • You’ll ship your first small project within UserGems’ CRM or Marketing Automation tool

…day 30…

  • You’ll learn about and give feedback on our existing business systems tech stack, processes, and reporting
  • You’ll shadow and review pre-sale and post-sale calls to get a detailed understanding of the UserGems prospect and customer journey
  • You’ll observe and participate in internal operations meetings and projects
  • You’ll kick off your first medium-sized project
  • You’ll have 1:1 intro meetings with the remaining team members

…day 60…

  • You’ll start delivering on internal projects driven by sales, marketing, and customer success
  • You’ll start providing user support and onboarding training for go-to-market team members (receiving lots of support and guidance along the way)

…day 90…

  • You’ll be an integral part of our go-to-market team, supporting day-to-day operations and owning key initiatives
  • You’ll be a UserGems expert with a deep understanding of our products and how they integrate with other systems
What we are looking for in a candidate:
  • 2- 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in operations at a SaaS startup
  • Salesforce Admin expertise is required; you should be comfortable building flows, working with integrations, and working on lead management and routing

  • Architect or developer experience as well as certifications are a plus.
  • Passionate about creating a great customer experience
