Introduction:

As the Associate General Manager of Academy, you will help developing this product by being the right hand to the General Manager, and play a key role in delivering successfully Academy, working across product, content, sales, customer success, and marketing. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires deep collaboration and stakeholder management, attention to detail, project management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make things happen.

What you'll be doing:
  • Help the General Manager of Academy to handle the team through project management, operations enablement and development of key initiatives;
  • Collaborate with the GM to define the goals and strategic initiatives to be launched by the business;
  • Supporting and improving the teams’ effectiveness through planning and prioritization;
  • You will serve as a program manager on high-impact projects, from concept to strategy and execution;
  • Promote a metrics-driven culture, with the development of consistent approaches to setting performance targets, forecasting, and ongoing performance improvement;
  • Process definition and improvement: create and manage the processes that will ensure the team’s efficiency and be a continuous improvement advocate and stakeholder;
  • Collaborate with functional areas (product, sales, operations, legal, finance, etc) to ensure alignment across the company;
  • Lead by example: set a high bar for the team to think boldly and creatively, communicate frequently and with high-quality

  • What you need to have:
  • Experience in corporate strategy, start-up operations, and/or executive management experience
  • Have top-notch project/process management skills
  • Attention to detail with swift execution - be a strong problem solver with a data oriented approach
  • Grittiness, creativity, and ability to operate with unknowns to get things done
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key take-aways and disseminate meaningful insights
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
