Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Work Hours: US EST
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% remote (can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our team, focusing on the integration of legacy source systems into Bottomline DBIQ for enhanced treasury cash management solutions for our commercial customers. This role involves leveraging MuleSoft API platform to develop robust, scalable APIs and partner integrations, as well as building and maintaining microservices using Java, SpringBoot, and Kubernetes hosted on prem or with GCP Cloud platforms. (legacy tech stack is on prem, new tech stack is all cloud native)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft API platform to facilitate data transfer from legacy systems to Bottomline DBIQ.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture, leveraging Java, MuleSoft, SpringBoot, and Kubernetes, and ensure optimal deployment on GCP Cloud platforms.
• Creating System, Process, and Experience API's per MuleSoft architecture best practices
• Exhibit expertise in database design, including writing and tuning queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, or similar DBMS technologies.
• Implement serverless architecture and utilize messaging systems on GCP or AWS cloud platforms to enhance system scalability and performance.
• Utilize modern CI/CD automation tools such as Gitlab, Circle CI, etc., to streamline development processes. Utilize JIRA for tracking work
• Write comprehensive automated test suites (unit tests, component tests, etc.) to ensure robustness and reliability of developed systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies in payments, banking, and financial services to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building APIs and partner integrations on MuleSoft API platform.
• Deep understanding of database design, query optimization, and experience with various DBMS technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and messaging systems on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Proficiency with modern CI/CD automation tools (Gitlab, Circle CI, etc.).
• Experience in writing automated test suites for software validation.
• Knowledge and experience in the payments, banking, or financial services sectors.
• Experience with API Security
• Experience with Kafka integrations
