How will you make a difference to PMI?

PMI is looking for a senior level professional for managing both internal and external communications for their assigned regions, partnering directly with regional leaders to ensure their specific needs are met efficiently and effectively. Responsible for critical expertise is in place to meet the evolving communications needs of the regions, ensuring that communications plans and tactics are relevant to the regional stakeholders and support their increased engagement with PMI overall .

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • Develop and lead the regions communications strategy, ensuring relevant planning and actions are in place to meet unique stakeholder needs while also maintaining alignment with overall organization communications strategies.
  • Expertise in conducting and understanding persona analysis to better segment and understand the target audience, along with performing competitor analysis.
  • Manage region media relations and communications, assuring key spokespeople are appropriately prepared prior to media engagements.
  • Manage region multi-channel social strategy, with a particular focus on leveraging new opportunities for social that are relevant for region needs.
  • Develop stories and implement relevant tactics to generate excitement about PMI multiyear transformation and growth.
  • Cultivate an environment of readiness and alertness for communications needs; key team member for region crisis management and planning.
  • Identify key influencers and cultivate relationships to elevate PMI’s presence in the regions; identify and manage key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure their needs are clear and met.
  • Ensure quality control of all content disseminated.

Role Qualifications

  • BA in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or related degree.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated success with how to represent organization messages and initiatives across a variety of communication channels.
