We are looking for a business development director to lead all sales activities of a fast-growing German translation platform, with revenues over $8M.
Office presence in Northern Germany is required at least once a month.
As a Business Development Director for a German translation platform, your day-to-day activities involve:
Finding new clients: research and identify potential clients who need translation services. This could involve attending industry events, networking with businesses, or developing targeted marketing campaigns.
Building relationships: connect with decision-makers at potential client companies to understand their translation needs and present our platform's solutions
Developing proposals and quotes: work with the sales team to create proposals and quotes that outline our services, pricing, and timelines.
Negotiating contracts: negotiate the terms of contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Managing existing client relationships: maintain positive relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends: research and analyze market trends in the translation industry to identify new business opportunities and ensure our platform remains competitive.
Developing the platform: collaborate with product development teams to suggest improvements and features that will enhance the platform's value proposition for clients.
Your overall mission is to drive business growth for the translation platform by expanding our client base and increasing revenue. The targets are set for new client acquisition and revenue generation.
