Body Mill Material Handler

We are currently searching for a Material Handler for our Body Mill to join our team in Corona, CA. The Material Handler will provide material for assigned production area employees and carry out assignments from priorities established by Team Lead or Production Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Basic understanding of the flow of material from raw material to finished goods and how their assigned area affects the process.
• Provide material to the production lines in a timely manner to support the production schedule.
• Perform daily goods issues and receipts transactions
• Maintain hour by hour chart
• Set-up and maintain parts supermarket / kanban
• Fill parts bins on production floor hourly / daily
• Create daily parts pick-list for warehouse to pull non kanban parts
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly cycle counts as necessary
• Identify and correct inventory discrepancies
• Ability to read and understand production schedules
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workplace
• Additional duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good written and verbal English skills
• Basic Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Able to understand bills of material
• Must be reliable and a self-starter
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Strong math skills
• Basic computer skills, 6 months - 1yr manufacturing experience preferable in Fender
