Description

 

VitalSource®, is hiring a Marketing Manager to contribute to our Intrepid Marketing team located remotely.

 

As a key member of Intrepid’s marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting and promoting customer success, developing and creating digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions, and planning and executing various external and internal events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as search engines, social media, and email.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute external events, including conferences, industry trade shows, and networking events. Manage event logistics, sponsorship opportunities, exhibitor space, travel arrangements, scheduling, etc. all within budget.
  • Assist with content creation efforts, including writing blog posts, creating marketing collateral and case studies, and contributing to social media content development.
  • Conduct keyword research, optimize website content for SEO, and assist with managing paid advertising campaigns.
  • Assist with finding and evaluating speaking opportunities to pursue and work with customers to compile compelling proposals that convey the value of their experience and strategies.
  • Manage award submission processes, including identifying relevant industry awards, preparing submissions, and coordinating the submission process to maximize recognition for both our customers and our organization.
  • Monitor marketing efforts and campaign performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with trends and technologies within the learning and development (L&D) and marketing industries, and how to leverage them to streamline and optimize processes.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with digital marketing and SEO tools and best practices. Experience with SEM and PPC advertising a bonus.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and WordPress, with experience in managing emails, content, and campaigns within these platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Travel Requirement: approximately 10%.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in creative planning and logistics for both virtual and on-site events, with a track record of successful event execution.
  • Basic graphic design skills with a creative eye for a modern look and feel. Photoshop experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000
