The Scoop:
The Business Systems Analyst IV is a liaison between the clients, business stakeholders, and the Information Technology department to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements. The position is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the complex business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies; collaborates with the business and technology stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and backlog items for the product line scrum team; produces the detailed description of user stories, business and functional requirement artifacts; lead the team to deliver the technology capabilities on time on budget in ScrumMaster capacity according to Agile/Scrum methodology.
What You Get To Do:
Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand and document user stories and business requirements.
Translates business requirements by reviewing, analyzing and evaluating needs into actionable functional specifications that includes system requirements, flow charts, report mock-ups, and business rules.
Facilitates design sessions with the business and technical resources to ensure that the solutions meets the needs of the business and operational excellence.
Develops project plans, prioritize project tasks, and provides regular status updates on project progress to the stakeholders and management.
Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
Assists the technical teams on product and database design as an advocate of both end users and technology teams.
Performs as a ScrumMaster on the Scrum team, facilitates and leads Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coaches and guides the Scrum team in adopting and adhering to Agile principles and best practices.
Removes impediments and fosters a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Works closely with product owners to prioritize and groom the product backlog, and ensures that the team delivers high-quality technology capabilities within the agreed-upon timelines and on budget.
Promotes continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and feedback loops, leads the Scrum team to establish the self-service capable and comprehensive knowledge base in Confluence.
Collaborates with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and align on priorities.
Utilizes advanced SQL programming skills to analyze large datasets, extracts meaningful insights, and contributes to data-driven decision-making.
Conducts thorough data validation and quality assurance to ensure the integrity of analytical results.
Continuously improves and optimizes data-related processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Education and/or Experience
For consideration candidates will need:
- Bachelor's degree from and accredited four-year university (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 8+ years’ related experience (PBM or healthcare industry experience preferred)
Computer Skills
Knowledge and proven proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio (or Miro), Atlassian JIRA and Confluence tools.
Strong proficiency in advanced SQL programming skills and data analysis techniques.
