Your missions

The Bouqs Co. is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our platform, ensuring the scalability, reliability and security of the cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA and operations teams to drive continuous improvements, optimize our cloud deployments and streamline our CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on Amazon AWS Cloud and Cloudflare
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software release process, ensuring best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability, reliability, and security
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and improve deployment processes
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ensure system security through vulnerability assessments, patch management and compliance audits
  • Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, and Redis

    • Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role with a proven track record of managing systems on the Amazon AWS Cloud
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or a related field
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Cloud Native tools such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or others such as GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • In-depth understanding of networking, security best practices and system administration
  • Extensive experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, Redis)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Experience with complex shopping platforms, logistical support systems, and e-commerce platform such as WebLinc/WorkArea is a big plus
  • Experience supporting and maintaining applications written in Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails is a plus
  • Experience with PCI compliance is a plus
