Job Description Summary

Supervises and oversees the daily activities of the SIL finance department of Mexico Branch (MXB). Reports activities to the MXB Director of Finance and responds to that person's questions/requests. This position is accountable to the Area Finance Coordinator (AFC) of SIL.

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Produce Controller’s report as needed

  • Addresses procedural issues

  • Implements policy changes created by Administration and MXB Director of finance.

  • Supervises finance staff / dept

  • Answers issues from finance staff

  • Oversees month-end procedures

  • Completes year-end process

  • Grant management

  • Produces financial statements

  • Compiles budgets

  • Americas Finance Leadership Team (AFLT) involvement

  • Accountable to Area Finance Coordinator (AFC)
