Careers Service and Industry Relationship Specialist

Job summary

Reporting to the Careers Service & Industry Relationship Manager, The Careers Service & Industry Relationship Specialist will be responsible for offering a high-quality service to students and alumni, connecting them with professionals in the fashion industry. The primary goal of this position is to work closely with the service manager to establish and strengthen relationships with students and alumni, helping them in their search for internships and job placements. The role of the Careers Service & Industry Relationship Specialist also involves exploring new partnership opportunities with companies in the fashion sector to offer more professional opportunities and projects to our students. Additionally, they will ensure that the reputation of Istituto Marangoni is continuously maintained according to the highest standards.

Key purpose of the role

  • Provide assistance for the recruitment process of the students aligned to company requirements, in order to offer them mandatory curricular internships. Revise the curriculum vitae and portofolio of them, in order to better combine students' expectations with companies' needs.

  • Promote the Alumni network and strengthen the Alumni involvement in school activities.

  • Develop dashboards and monitor student placements. Organize the annual survey on the employment status of graduates.

  • Contribute to the organization of different career/recruiting events in order to promote the visibility of the students and the related internship and placement opportunities.

  • Assure front end services with students, in order to guarantee high level of placements services and to give them detailed information on their career path development during individual meetings.

  • Support the Careers Service & Industry Relationship Manager in seeking new potential partnerships with companies in the fashion sector (business prospecting and promoting our courses to companies/HR contacts).

  • Participate in writing the bi-monthly Newsletter for Alumni (writing profiles and updates on the fashion market).

  • Regularly update the service database.

  • Participate in school events (Open Day, Master Evening, talks, etc.).

Profile requirements

Education

  • Degree in Bachelor or Master in management.

Work Experience

  • A first successful professionnal experience.

Soft skills

  • Meticulous and have a strong sense of organization.

  • Strong writing skills and a synthetic mind.

  • Service and customer-oriented, dynamic and flexible, multitasking, problem solving, time management.

  • Friendly, welcoming, smiling, and attentive, you have an excellent presentation and are comfortable in a premium environment.

  • Great autonomy and initiative.

IT skills

  • Good experience in standard computer programs (Ms Office), Social media platform for Recruiting or Employer/Personal Branding.

Languages

  • Perfect command of English. Good skills in another language would be a plus.
