Within Fender Musical Instruments Corporation’s ("FMIC") Supply Chain team, reporting into the Global Logistics, Trade and Distribution organization. This role will be accountable for FMIC’s North America (US, CA, MX, LATAM) distribution fulfillment network.

We are searching for a VP of North American Fulfillment based US, Midwest (remote, travels often). This role will be accountable for FMIC’s North America (US, CA, MX, LATAM) distribution fulfillment network. Immediate goals will be 3PL collaboration, contract management, network strategy, and business collaboration to create a roadmap for growth. Main goals are driving efficiency, cost mitigation, and orchestrate flawless change management. Reporting to this role will be the Director of Distribution managing the day-to-day operations of FMIC’s two warehouses.

Essential Functions:

  • The strategic planning horizon for this role is 1-5 years, enabling growth and margin control for US, Canada, Mexico, and LATAM fulfillment.
  • Strategic leadership ensuring day to day activities are flawlessly executed with 3PLs and team members, while driving initiatives and best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Excellent internal collaboration and communication skills are expected, partnering with global supply chain, legal, HR, finance, and sales teams.
  • Executive stakeholder management expected – there will be regular exposure to senior and executive leadership team.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, including suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
  • Driving procurement initiatives and executing contract negotiations will be within scope.
  • Capable of managing from ideation of strategy to fruition: create roadmap, business case, enable, project execute and measure success.
  • Monitor financial performance, including cost control, budget adherence, and profitability.

  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Ensure all distribution activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management and distribution, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale distribution networks and driving operational efficiency.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
