Your missions

This is a remote position.

  • Design, deploy, and manage physical and logical data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and power systems.
  • Implement and maintain data center best practices for security, scalability, power efficiency, and cooling.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Lead and participate in data center migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Develop and document operational procedures for data center tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging data center technologies and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data center infrastructure aligns with overall IT strategy.
  • Oversee and mentor junior data center engineers, fostering a strong team environment.

    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience working in a data center environment.
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining data center infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of data center best practices, including power and cooling systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of server, storage, and networking hardware and software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef) a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) a plus.
  • Certifications in data center technologies (e.g., DCOS, CCNA) a plus.
