We are seeking a dynamic Head of High-Frequency Trading to bolster our client’s team. This leadership role is crucial for establishing scalable, efficient internal processes, driving team growth, and enhancing trading performance. As the main point of contact for all high-frequency trading operations, you will play a vital role in formulating and implementing trading strategies, and optimizing trading algorithms
Coordinate, mentor, and set tasks for a team of Quantitative Researchers.
Build and manage a team that will meet our algorithmic trading goals.
Establish efficient internal team processes.
Develop and implement trade strategies and ideas in conjunction with the team.
Develop high-frequency trading solutions.
Create data analysis tools.
Prioritize projects and tasks in line with strategic objectives.
Monitor trading activities and risk profiles, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term business plans and contribute to the overall company's vision.
Advanced degree from a leading university in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields.
Substantial experience as a trader and a proven track record as a leader in quantitative finance.
Proficiency in English, adequate for communication with stakeholders.
Experience in the HF prop traders or in hedge funds.
Demonstrated experience in building and leading successful trading teams.
Proficiency in Python and experience in developing research scripts.
Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) principles.
Experience in option trading and building trading robots.
A competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with experience and skills. A regular full-time contract will be offered with a bonus structure. Location - Dubai, UAE full-time.
