Impact
As an Engineer on the Marketing Data Science team at Shipt, you will be responsible for shaping and growing marketing intelligence for Shipt where you will be structuring qualitative and quantitative marketing analysis as well as interpreting and synthesizing data resulting in business recommendations.
Every day you will work heavily with SQL and Tableau and partaking in two week sprint planning process where you will be assigned a task and work on assigned tasks including exploratory data analysis, building dashboards and/or updating existing dashboard ect. You will be meeting with business partners and stakeholders to understand requests and deliver solutions. You will also be provided strong mentorship and guidance.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
Experience with many types of digital marketing including, but not limited to, paid search, SEO, email, display, paid social, etc.
1+ year of SQL and Python or R
1+ years experience building Tableau dashboards
Experience developing appropriate KPIs for monitoring and measurement of marketing optimization efforts
Experience with various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies such as A/B testing and causal inference.
Ability to distill research findings into clear, and compelling data-backed presentations, data visualizations, and/or infographics.
Great interpersonal skills to collaborate with a wide diversity of colleagues in other disciplines and cultures.
Driven to get the whole story, and to deeply know the business you support.
Work Arrangement:
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis.
