LOCATION: Remote - will need to be willing to travel to Boston

Responsibilities:

As a Cloud Engineer - Turbot on our team, you’ll design and implement solutions leveraging Turbot for complex deployments and guardrails for a global multi-cloud solution. Participate in architecture reviews of cloud designs. Work on green fields and pre-built deployments with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)/Software-defined Infrastructure. Provide input on proper securing of services used in AWS, GCP, Azure deployments. You’ll collaborate closely with cloud architects and engineers.   • Experience using/implementing Turbot solutions (e.g., Pipes, Steampipe, Flowpipe, Powerpipe, and/or Guardrails) in Government or Commercial cloud environments
  • Hands-on IaC/Software-defined Infrastructure experience
  • including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with using or migrating continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or cloud native options like Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or delivering using automation techniques or tools, including Ansible or Git
  • Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware, or OpenShift
  • Experience with troubleshooting Linux, including RHEL, UNIX, networking, scripting and automation, systems administration functions, or application troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of foundational system administration principles and classified environment processes and Protocols
  • Ability to work with engineering and development teams to perform root cause analysis

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with communicating directly with software application development teams
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, Systems Manager, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and IAM
  • Knowledge of Ubuntu, or CentOS with a focus on the web, including Apache or Nginx
  • Experience with creating automation of deployment and/or configuration tasks with IaC tools including Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or GitLab
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or GCP Certification
  • Knowledge of protocols and technologies, including Microservices, SOA, HTTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP, JDBC, SQL, or HTML

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of directly related hands-on experience with at least 3 years of direct IaC experience o Relevant cloud certification(s)
