Job Description Summary
As part of GE Vernova’s Software business whose focus is the Proficy® Software & Services portfolio, this position is responsible for end-to-end orchestration of processes and initiatives that support our Reseller and Representative partner programs, accelerating profitable Orders & Revenue growth through these important go-to-market (GTM) channels, globally.
The Channel Partner Operations Specialist is a multifaceted operations professional who will lead projects, develop & refine processes, and drive relevant program governance, enabling robust partner operations at scale.
This role reports directly to the Business Operations Leader and will partner closely with 1) the Legal & Compliance teams to ensure business and partner strategies are well understood and supported by robust onboarding & offboarding standard work; with 2) Regional Commercial Leaders (RCLs) and Channel Managers (CMs) to support adoption and execution of the same; with 3) Pricing & Finance for partner performance and discount analyses to guide regional program standards; and with 4) Sales Operations to develop, refine, and operationalize key business processes that improve partner effectiveness and performance.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to ensure partner onboarding and offboarding standard work is streamlined, well-documented, and consistently applied
  • Primary liaison with central partner team to catch and expediently act upon all channel partner inquiries that require business unit input and/or approval
  • Implement/refine and drive standard work that fosters more transparency around partner performance, contract renewal timelines, active + expiring deal registrations, etc., ultimately enabling more proactive partner management
  • Understand the history behind Partner of Record designation and leverage this to define/implement a simpler future state
  • Primary focal point for dissemination of all channel partner communications globally
  • Serve as trusted advisor across our global channel teams to ensure systems, tools, processes, programs, and enablement – present and future – translate to impactful partner experiences and profitable growth
  • Work collaboratively with the IT and data management/analytics teams on identified system/reporting requirements aimed at improving partner programs/experience
  • Channel partner analytics - leverage key performance insights to assess effectiveness and trends over time, enabling data-driven renewal decisions
  • Together with your Sales Operations colleagues, understand the history behind today’s Deal Registration process/implementation and leverage this to define/implement a simpler and better-integrated future state
  • Contract governance

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university / college or a high school diploma with at least 3 years of experience in project/program management, sales operations/support, partner operations/support, or commercial operations/excellence
  • Able to legally work in Mexico. This position can work remotely within Mexico.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience using SFDC, Tableau, and other commercial systems & tools
  • Operational experience with reseller, representative, or other commercial ecosystem partners
  • Proven program/project management skills
