Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is an established, yet burgeoning, SaaS platform focused on increasing convenient access to core corporate services with technology. Part of their product suite, is a time-tested solution that solves a fundamental gap in the marketing automation market. With tens of thousands of customers around the world, their users save time and reduce errors on routine tasks. This role can be performed remotely across Canada, or a combination of both on-sight and remote. A day in the life might look like:

• Collaborating with your team to: understand the challenges their business faces, identify the most impactful opportunities, and craft a roadmap for the team; • Working with your team on preparing an architecture document for an upcoming project; • Working with the developers on your team to break down a project into deliverable chunks of work; • Giving great feedback on code reviews, architecture documents, and more to help support team members making great technical decisions for their projects; • Having one on one meetings with your direct reports to make sure they are supported in their career growth and development goals; • Reviewing code contributed by members from your team or other developers reaching out to you for your experience with a given technology or pattern. • Working with other developers to build and maintain scalable and reliable software system

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment • Troubleshoot and debug software applications • Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in software development
