Job Description:
The Account Manager at Channel Bakers loves all things Marketplace and is quick to establish themselves as a
trusted source of knowledge. You are the glue that holds everything together as you oversee the day-to-day
running of client accounts and ensure that all strategy is executed on time and to budget.
As an accomplished Account Manager you bring a wealth of experience to the table, which enables you to
confidently support a diverse range of clients. Your ability to tackle challenges proactively, and independently, and
find solutions is a standout quality.
You have a sound understanding of Amazon (and maybe some of their contemporaries), and are always a trusted
partner to our clients to help deliver the outcomes they depend on us for whatever it takes.
Having cultivated at least 2+ years of solid Marketplace experience, you are able to ‘speak’ Amazon and have a
solid grasp of their operations processes, metrics, and best practices. You have sound knowledge of Seller Central
and Vendor Central and are a good resource to all who need support in these areas. As an Account Manager, you
are able to support a diverse range of clients, primarily focused on accounts poised for growth. Your ability to tackle
challenges and find solutions proactively and independently is a standout quality.
As a right-hand partner to the Account Director, you maintain your own relationships with the client via strategic
communication, quarterly business reviews, presentations, and developing business plans. Supporting the
eCommerce Specialists, you ensure that they are set up for success with all their daily tasks which could include
building and optimizing listings, creating reports, or submitting promotions to name a few. You are a skilled Excel
user and are able to prepare and interpret data and develop insights. You clearly and comfortably delegate both
routine and important tasks and provide help and direction as required.
You are able to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and can get messages
across that have the desired effect. You are proactive and make good decisions based on a combination of
analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment, and are often sought out by others for advice or solutions. You enjoy

Required Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of Amazon experience. Other marketplaces a plusMust speak fluent English and 1 other EU language (DE FR IT ES UK) - German preferred! Marketing or Advertising account management experience would be a bonus Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Business, or related subject preferred Sound experience of Amazon Vendor and Seller Central. Everyday Tasks :Communicate regularly with clients via calls, emails, and in meetings to provide updates on brand performance and projectsTroubleshooting account issues and create cases Monitor competitive landscape (pricing and reviews) Inventory management and planningMaintaining eCommerce promotional calendars to help drive growthCreate and publish successful online product listings that include images, shipping details, and item specifications on Amazon, and more Manage and optimize existing listings and make necessary corrections to ensure product accuracy Conduct deep-dive analysis on issues affecting inventory/sales levelsGenerate monthly reports on account performance, sales trends, advertising metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead client calls, reporting on account performance, open projects, and strategy Actively involved in monitoring industry trends and platform changes to help us maintain our role as an industry leader and stay well-informed Communicate with advertising counterparts to ensure smooth execution of the clients; high-level eCommerce strategyCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally within Channel Bakers and with other key stakeholdersSupport the Account Director with pitches for additional Channel Bakers services (Creative, Advertising, Reporting)Harness company-approved platforms effectively, using strategic insights to pinpoint growth possibilities for clients and actively explore new service and sales prospects to drive agency achievements.Respond promptly to ad hoc client requests, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to exceptional client servicesEssential Job Functions/Physical Requirements:Operating in a remote setting, this position requires the use of standard office equipment.The Employee is required to stand, walk, bend, use hand to handle or feel objects, or tools, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear for extended periods of time.
