The opportunity

This is a hands-on Technical role in which you’ll be responsible for architecture & design, code reviews, hands-on coding & mentoring the team you are assigned to..

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for the Architecture and High Level design of the problem statements at Simpplr.
  • Ensure Software Characteristics (also known as Non Functional Requirements) laid out are met for the services/managed owned by you.
  • Work with Product Managers, Testing team and Development team to understand the business requirements and come up with the Target Architecture.
  • Responsible for driving Technology and Best Practices in Engineering.
  • Will participate in the Architecture discussions, Design reviews and Code reviews.
  • Experiment with state of the art tools and technologies, and drive adoption of the same.
  • Drive Technology and Tools choices for your team.
  • Implementation of long term Technology Roadmap.
  • Identify improvement areas in the existing services, furnish revised design and take it to closure.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in designing large scale applications.
  • At-least one successful end to end product launch.
  • Fluency with system Architecture and system interaction design skills.
  • Skills to devise new approaches for complex design problems.
  • Deep knowledge on Microservices and Event Driven Architecture.
  • Decent visionary with interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Has an eye for detail and convert ideas into a tangible form.
  • Strategic thinking and passion for business processes.
  • Ability to manage and deliver work in a fast paced environment.

Good to have -

  • Working knowledge on AWS Public Cloud.
  • Expertise in NodeJs, Typescript, Javascript, Java, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Experience in risk and risk control compliance.
  • Technical Certification on AWS Cloud/Architecture/Design.
