Job description

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our team as Preceptor-Adjunct Clinical Faculty. Responsibilities
  • Mentor and supervise medical students during their clinical rotations.
  • Provide instruction, guidance, and feedback to students to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the ICOM faculty and staff to ensure alignment with the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Participate in evaluation and assessment processes to provide valuable input on student performance.
  • Enhance the educational experience by sharing your expertise and clinical insights with students.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted medical license.
  • Board certification.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring medical students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
