Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated CAE Engineer to join our Automotive Team and provide support within Crash/Safety and Durability simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Crash & Safety

  • Review and understand targets and requirements for Low speed and VRU crash protocols in legal/rating according to the defined AVN (Analysis and Verification Need)
  • Build up Complete Vehicle CAE model based on new or C/O data models in each engineering phase, according to input from ART Exterior regarding CAD
  • Run simulation matrix for Low speed and VRU according to defined AVN or each project release
  • Summarize the results and present a Status Report for each project phase. If the requirements are not met, then countermeasures need to be clearly stated and you will have to implement together with design engineering teams countermeasures to secure crash safety performance

Durability

  • Review and understand targets and requirements for durability load cases, such as fatigue testing, strength, creep and global stiffness etc.
  • Perform CAE analysis in Complete Vehicle / System models regarding non-linear static and dynamic strength events, temperature induced load (expansion, creep) and fatigue in metal applications
  • Build up / mesh Complete Vehicle / System CAE models based on new or C/O data models in each engineering phase according to input from ART Exterior Front & Rear regarding CAD
  • Summarize results and present a Status Report for each project phase. If the requirements are not met, then countermeasures need to be stated and start working with design engineering teams to secure fulfillment

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field: Mechanical, Automotive etc.
  • Medium or Advanced English skills (written and spoken)
  • Proven experience in CAE engineering in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in using tools such as NASTRAN, ANSA, mETA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Precise and structured approach to tasks, with the ability to prioritize effectively
