Responsible (m/f/d) Electronics Measurement Laboratory:

Analog Devices (ADI) is a leading provider of semiconductor solutions for communications, automotive, industrial, and medical devices. The "Battery Management Systems" Group develops semiconductors to monitor high-voltage batteries in electric vehicles, enabling the transformation to a more sustainable future in which the energy of solar and wind ensures the mobility of tomorrow. Our products combine the highest measurement precision with high-voltage robustness and are developed according to the highest safety standards.

For our growing development site in Ismaning, we are looking for a responsible for the measurement laboratory.

The main tasks of the laboratory manager include:

  • Maintenance of the laboratory
    • Maintaining laboratory inventory and ordering measuring instruments
    • Ensuring the calibration of measuring instruments
    • Maintenance of measuring instruments and other laboratory equipment
    • Ordering of electronic components
  • Development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for customer applications and IC evaluation
    • Creation of the circuit schematic
    • Creating the board layout
    • Ordering of the circuit boards
    • Checking and fixing of printed circuit boards
    • Support in the analysis and repair of customer boards
  • Evaluation and characterization of semiconductor devices
    • Working closely with other team members to support product development
    • Automation and execution of tests of electronic components
    • Collecting and documenting data from experiments and tests
  • Site management
    • The position includes support of site maintenance, such as supporting IT infrastructure, managing orders, and communicating with external maintenance or construction companies.

 You are well suited for the role of responsible for the laboratory with the following Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Experience in PCB design and layout using industry standard tools
  • Familiarity with analog laboratory measurement instruments would benefit this role
  • Knowledge of software tools such as LabVIEW or Python to control measurement Instrumentation would benefit this role.
    • A solid work ethic and interest in investigating problems and developing systematic strategies to solve them.
    • Good English communication skills and enthusiasm to work in an international team

Zu den Hauptaufgaben der/des Laborverantwortliche/n zählen:

  • Aufrechterhaltung des Labors
    • Führung des Laborinventars und Bestellung von Messgeräten
    • Sicherstellung der Kalibrierung von Messgeräten
    • Wartung von Messgeräten und anderen Laborgeräten
    • Bestellung von elektronischen Bauteilen
  • Entwicklung von Leiterplatinen (PCBs) zur Halbleiterevaluierung und Kundenanwendungen
    • Erstellung des Schaltplanes
    • Erstellen des Platinenlayouts
    • Bestellung der Platinen
    • Überprüfung und ggf. Korrektur von Leiterplatten
    • Unterstützung bei der Analyse und Reparatur von Kundenplatinen
  • Evaluierung und Charakterisierung von Halbleiterbauelementen
    • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Teammitgliedern zur Unterstützung der Produktentwicklung
    • Automatisierung und Durchführung von Tests von elektronischen Komponenten
    • Sammeln und Dokumentieren von Daten aus Experimenten und Tests
  • Unterstützung der Standortverwaltung

Diese Rolle umfasst auch einige Aufgaben im Bereich der Standortwartung, wie die Unterstützung der IT-Infrastruktur, die Verwaltung von Bestellungen und die Kommunikation mit externen Wartungs- oder Bauunternehmen.

Idealerweise sollten Sie folgende Qualifikationen mitbringen:

  • Abschluss in Elektronik, Elektrotechnik oder einem verwandten Bereich.
  • Kenntnisse in Schaltungsentwicklung und Platinenlayout
  • Vertrautheit im Umgang mit Messinstrumenten ist von Vorteil
  • Softwarekenntnisse zur Ansteuerung von Messinstrumenten (Python, Labview) ist von Vorteil
  • Solide Englischkenntnisse zur Kommunikation in einem internationalen Team
  • Neugierde und Spaß an der systematischen Lösung von Problemen
