SC&H Capital is currently recruiting for a Vice President, Investment Banking to join our growing team in our Ellicott City office. SC&H Capital is a middle market focused Investment Bank delivering M&A advisory services to businesses throughout their entire lifecycle, provided by professionals who are experts in buying, growing and selling businesses. Our professionals focus on consistently providing insightful and timely advice and delivering effective outcomes everyday - not just on the day they sell. This position will primarily focus on healthy businesses within the sell-side M&A space.  

SC&H Capital is currently searching for a Vice President to join our expanding Capital Practice in Ellicott City, MD. This person will play a critical role as a key team member in leading the execution of various lower middle market M&A advisory transactions.

As a part of our team you will:

  • Work with the Principals/Directors of the practice in managing the execution of deals
  • Lead the development of confidential information memos, pitch books, buyers/investors lists, and financial models
  • Manage the day to day execution of client transactions including the preparation of materials, buyer/investor outreach, and the transaction diligence process
  • Actively oversee and review materials, information and correspondence of junior bankers on engagement teams
  • Interact daily with colleagues, clients, and buyers/investors during engagements to gather necessary information, communicate engagement status, and respond to diligence requests
  • Assist other VPs and Directors in assessing and assigning appropriate levels of staffing across the group for all engagements
  • Help to train and guide junior bankers in deal execution matters

Qualified Candidates will have the following:

  • 5-8 Years of sell side Investment Banking experience
  • Must have exceptional financial modeling and business writing skills
  • Must have superior communication and clients service skills
  • Must have a desire to focus on execution of engagements and training of junior bankers
  • Must be FINRA licensed (Series 63 and the Series 7 or 79)
  • All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position REQUIRES 5 days a week in office in our Ellicott City, MD location.  No remote or hybrid applicants will be considered.
