So we hope this sounds like you. Because we are always looking for exceptional Senior Data Engineers to work in immersive client projects that will challenge your abilities. Ideally, we need you to have advanced level English language skills and:

• Consulting with Product and Business teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage and delivery needs.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: Automating manual processes. Optimizing data delivery. Re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Apache Airflow and AWS data technologies.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Providing maintenance support of mission critical date pipeline components.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Prepares business and technical documentation
• Real Time event processing systems.
• Python / Airflow experience
• AWS Redshift / Athena experience
• Build, review and improve new and existing data pipelines, improve data structure and availability
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of robust, high volume data-oriented solutions with big data technologies (Python, Spark, AWS, etc.)
• Works independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments to find solutions to existing problems
• Responsible for creating reusable processes that help implement each solution
• Works with stakeholders to understand the business needs and gather requirements to develop appropriate solutions
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL and relational database development is required
• Experience scheduling applications with complex interdependencies
