Sr. Director, Resource Solutions (REMOTE)

Are you a strategic visionary, eager to drive development of innovative solutions to complex requirements? Do you have a history of developing technical estimates that yield competitively priced proposals while also achieving financial and performance objectives?   KBR is hiring a Senior Director of Estimating to propel advancements in the way KBR generates technical solutions and Bases of Estimates.  You will establish best practices for technical estimating; deploy tools to make technical estimating more efficient; formalize a review process that yields more competitive, compliant and compelling technical estimates; and, develop and deliver training to KBR’s estimating community.

Note: This position is attached to KBR's Corporate Headquarters in Houston, TX. However, the position is day-to-day remote work-at-home.

Required:

• Ability to evaluate organizational needs and capabilities to implement process improvements and make strategic hiring decisions.
• Experience right-sizing staff and resource solutions for large, complex operations across a broad spectrum of technical and professional services to Government customers.
• Expertise communicating optimized solutions and clear rationale in a convincing manner to demonstrate their value.
• Ability to find the balance between operational execution and proposal competitiveness and getting buy-in from stakeholder with differing priorities.
• Experience establishing and coaching estimating best practices across an organization to improve estimating acumen.
• Experience developing and delivering training to technical estimators and proposal teams
• Bachelor’s degree and 25+ years of relevant experience.

Desired:

• Knowledge of industry leading estimating tools
• Cross-discipline experience (e.g., Project Management, Capture Management, Pricing)
• Current or ability to attain a TS/SCI clearance
