Job Description

  • Design and architect SAP security solutions, focusing on identity and access management (IAM) within SAP landscapes.

  • Develop strategies for role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and least privilege access principles in SAP environments.

  • Implement and configure SAP Identity Management (IDM) or SAP Identity Authentication solutions to meet business requirements including integration with SailPoint IdentityNow

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP security solutions with other enterprise systems and applications.

  • Provide guidance and expertise on SAP security best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Perform security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing of SAP systems.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance and optimise existing SAP security infrastructure.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to SAP security and identity management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience securing and architecting SAP solutions.

  • Good knowledge of security governance and compliance frameworks (i.e. SAP Secure Operation Map, NIST, Mitre Att&ck etc.), incident categories, incident responses, and timelines for responses.

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP standard processes and Implementation Methodology.

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) working as an SAP Security Consultant, SAP Identity Architect, or similar role.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and propose effective solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, including authorization concepts, user management, and role design.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Identity Management (IDM) or SAP Identity Authentication solutions.

  • Proficiency in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of integration patterns between SAP systems and other enterprise applications.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
