Job description

Overview:

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is continuing to expand and we are looking for an individual to help grow the water/wastewater practice in our Bridgeport WV Office. If desired we offer a flexible hybrid work schedule of 2 days work-from-home or 1 day off every other week. In this role, you will be interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials and will impact the whole project - from conceptual/planning and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction - all the way through completion.

 

As a Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) with an emphasis on public wastewater and water projects, you will be responsbile for:

  • Supporting the Water Resources department projects that have a significant wastewater and water design elements including designing pump stations, force mains, water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, collection and distribution systems and involvement in public funding applications.
  • Taking part in managing projects, design, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, as well as mentoring and supervising junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • 5-15 years’ experience; 
  • B.S. in Chemical, Environmental or Civil Engineering;
  • Professional Engineering License (P.E.) preferred;
  • Ability to develop and mentor staff; 
  • Ability to prepare or review technical Civil Engineering/Utility deliverables; 
  • Ability to prepare proposals; 
  • Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business;
  • Preferred knowledge of public utility funding and design process for WV.
