Your missions

Safeguard is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative with order entry, cross-selling, and sales support experience. The CSR provides excellent customer experience on every interaction with our business customers, while actively supporting the sales team by up-selling and cross-selling product offerings. Orders are received via phone, email, and fax, so strong written and verbal communication skills are important. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and support their initiatives.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delighting our business customers by providing and processing information in response to orders, quotes and issues, all in a fast-paced work environment. 

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Interact with sales team and business customers primarily by email and telephone. 

  • Process orders, reorders and quotes. 

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries. 

  • Handle and resolve customer issues and concerns. 

  • Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes. 

  • Keep record of customer interactions and transactions. 

  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.

  • Receives inbound calls, email or chat from customers/partners regarding questions and/or issues with products and services i.e websites, e-mail

  • Provide strong customer-centric focus with the ability to understand and prioritize customer needs

  • Adhere to policies, procedures and escalation paths of Call Center and Deluxe leadership

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: High School/GED

Experience:

  • 1+ years experience in customer-facing roles

  • 6+ months of experience working in a team environment

  • Exceptional relationship building skills. 

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. 

  • Ability to make solid and accurate decisions independently based on analysis, experience, and judgment 

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team. 

  • Friendly, outgoing personality. 

  • Adaptability. 

  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft suite and general internet experience.

  • Optional - experience with e-quantum software.

  • Optional – experience in the print, promotional marketing or corporate apparel industry.

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Target Compensation Range

Hourly: $17.00 - $17.00
