The Windows Engineering team is responsible for the desktop, Windows server and Remote working platforms for Goldman Sachs. The team architects and engineers the Microsoft operating systems and enterprise products such as Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and Microsoft SCCM, third-party enterprise VDI products such as Citrix XenDesktop and XenServer, as well as multiple custom in-house systems management and software delivery platforms.
As a DevOps Engineer you will work with developers and the engineering staff to oversee the code releases, application support and troubleshooting production issues and bug fixes, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. Your responsibilities would include, supporting mission critical production systems, creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing systems, own the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines).
We are looking for senior Windows DevOps lead with experience in Windows enterprise infrastructure who understand the requirements for global, distributed platforms that require very high levels of uptime. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of professional experience in a software engineering and DevOps role.
