Audit Manager

This role will lead and manage audits of key subsidiaries, ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance. You will review and ensure accurate financial statements reflecting true financial health for board approval. In this role, you will proactively manage auditors and all aspects of financial reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently managing audits of key subsidiary entities with the auditors.
• Ensuring financial statements are prepared as per IFRS/GAAP and meet all the disclosure requirements.
• Direct communication/coordination with auditors and proactively address and resolve audit issues
• Quality review of financial statements before they are adopted by the board
• Handling all other compliance requirements in connection with the financial statements.
• Review of financials from a business perspective and ensure they fairly present the financial position and operating performance.

Requirements

Your Qualifications

• 7- 10 years of Post Qualification experience in Auditing in Big 4 Audit Firms
• Must be currently serving any of the Big 4 audit firms.

Your Proficiencies

• Exposure in handling audits of large multinational companies in diverse sectors.
• Attention to detail as well ability to see the big picture
• Strong communication/negotiation skills
• Passionate in auditing
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proactive and independent in handling issues and coming up with solutions
• Strong technical knowledge on IFRS and auditing standards
• Exposure to audits of consolidated financials and strong knowledge on consolidation concepts
• Must be team player and ability to build relationships in a multinational set-up
• Ability to decode and correlate different items in the financials to ensure high quality audits and presentation.
• Willingness to work from remote and travel if required. The candidate would most likely be required to work from remote.
