Data Migration Solution Architect

Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting for a Data Migration Solution Architect to join their business in Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Should have in-depth knowledge of standard Solutions stacks for the respective domain
  

• Should have extensively worked on migration projects, Understanding of relational data models on Analytical databases (Snowflake preferred)
  

• Should involve in Design, Development and Architecting of large Data migration projects
  

• Should possess Problem solving, Team building and Leadership Skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  

• Strong knowledge in procedural programming like SP, Functions
  

• In depth Knowledge of ETL concepts/tools (Talend, DBT preferred)
  

• Lead the execution of data migration projects, ensuring data is moved accurately and on schedule.
  

• Monitor migration progress, identify issues, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks.
  

• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity of migrated data.
  

• Collaborate with data engineers to address data quality issues and anomalies.
  

• Optimize Talend workflows and migration processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  

• Fine-tune transformations and mappings to meet performance targets.
  

• Document migration workflows, processes, and transformation logic for future reference.
  

• Generate reports and provide regular status updates on migration progress to stakeholders.
  

• Collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and other teams to ensure alignment on migration strategies and requirements.
  

• Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Experience and ability to define detailed strategies for Cut over and roll back
  

• Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills
  

• Ability to think through a problem and visualize the solution
  

Qualifications:

• 12 + yrs experience in the IT industry with experience in migration preferably in Healthcare Domain.
  

• BE / Master’s Degree
  

• ETL tool Experience  / Exposure
